Manayunk Woman Found Injured On Cynwyd Heritage Trail: Lower Merion PD

Authorities in Lower Merion are investigating after a 42-year-old Manayunk woman was found hurt on the Cynwyd Heritage Trail, officials said.

Police were called to the trail around 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday after a jogger reported a person lying down near the Manayunk Bridge Trail, according to authorities.

They arrived to find the victim with head and body injuries and suffering from cold exposure, police said. She was taken to Lankenau Hospital for treatment.

Detectives say they are "investigating the circumstances of her condition and the cause of her injuries."
